Alex Verdugo not only likes to play for the Red Sox, he also likes to play in Boston.

The 25-year-old left fielder wore a special chain with the Red Sox logo at a press conference after the second game of the American League Divisional Series against the Tampa Bay Rays. When asked about the chain, Verdugo talked about how much he loves everything about this team and this city.

"It's like a little respect for Boston," Verdugo said after Boston's 14-6 victory.

During the 2021 Major League Baseball playoffs, Verdugo has been outstanding on the court. In four games, his batting percentage was 0.368 (19 shooting 7 points), with doubles, one home run and five RBIs.

He was one of five Red Sox players who hit a home run in the second game against the Rays. Verdugo also had an awesome catch in the second game. He entered the stands and grabbed a foul from the bat of Rays heavy hitter Nelson Cruz.
